There’s no reason to compromise when it comes to cuisine aboard your Alaska small boat cruise, and aboard the Dream Catcher we never will. Our commercial style galley would make any land based chef jealous. Double ovens, dual dishwashers, and warming drawers are just some of the tools at our disposal in the 230 square foot galley area. Wrap around seating for 12, three extra large viewing windows and a cozy breakfast bar beckon our guests to enjoy the smells and tastes coming from the galley morning day and night.
One of our guests’ favorite components of their Alaska cruise tour is our cuisine. Everyone knows the secret to amazing seafood is freshness, what not everyone knows is just how fresh that seafood can be. We can guarantee no restaurant you’ll visit will have seafood like this. Imagine catching a salmon or Red Snapper from the deck, having an expert deckhand filet your catch and hand it off to our onboard chef to prepare it for the next meal. You can literally catch your breakfast, lunch or dinner and have someone else clean, filet and cook it before your eyes! This type of “rod to plate” fare can make up a major portion of what you’ll eat on your Alaska cruise tour, assuming you like seafood.
A fun evening activity is dropping shrimp and/or crab pots when where we drop anchor. It’s always fun to check the pots first thing in the morning before motoring on, as you never know what might make its way into them.
Don’t particularly care for seafood? Have no fear! Our chef prides herself on preparing a wide range of cuisine with something for everyone. Even when the main entrée is seafood you’ll have a variety of options to choose from.
