Whittier: For all Prince William Sound based trips

Whittier is the western gateway to Prince William Sound and serves as our home port for Prince William Sound tours. Just an hours drive south of Anchorage’s Ted Stevens International Airport, the sleepy little town of Whittier is the perfect place to start your Alaska adventure cruise. Daily flights into Anchorage are available from all over the country and the drive to Whittier is one of the most scenic in North America.

Getting to Whittier from Anchorage via Ground Transport (updated March 21st, 2013) If flying into Anchorage the following shuttle services are available to Whittier where Dream Catcher’s crew will pick you up at the harbor.

Homer: For all Kenai Peninsula based trips

Homer serves as our home port for all of our Kenai Peninsula trips. Homer is located at the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, about 220 miles south of Anchorage. Daily flights are available between Anchorage and Homer with Alaska Airlines and Era, among other airlines. There are several hotels/motels and vacation rentals in Homer, should you want to extend your trip around your time on the boat. Visit here for additional information about accommodations in Homer.

Cordova: For Cape St. Elias Adventures

Cordova is located on the eastern edge of Prince William Sound and is the starting point for our Cape St. Elias cruises. Despite its remote location it is relatively easily accessible. Daily flights from Anchorage and Seattle are available with both Alaska Airlines and Era. The other option for getting to Cordova is to take the a ferry from the Alaska Marine Highway from Valdez, Whittier or Seward. Round trip transportation from your accommodations in Cordova are included in all our Cape St. Elias cruise prices.
