Tranquil Waters

The waters have been pretty tame today. Actually basically flat.

No marine mammals spotted today. We don’t want to see any close up for the whole operation gets shut down until they leave the area. Every vessel has marine mammal observers on board, there is a helicopter overhead, and we have 3 techs glued to headsets connected to hydrophones that are attached to the boat and sunk over a 5 mile area listening for any marine life underwater. Can’t even fire the air guns until the area has been searched and cleared.

Enjoy your evening meal, we had t-bones tonight with all the fixings. Had to eat one, couldn’t let it go to waste!
