While Eric was driving he had a close encounter of the whale kind! It was early morning, when all of a sudden a blow mist came right up over the bow. He couldn’t see the whale until the bow dipped into the oncoming seas immediately after the blow and he quickly swung hard port. He thinks the whale was no more than than 15’ when he veered off to the port to miss the leviathan! Running into a whale would not have been good for us or it!
